The EU Strategy for Sustainable and Circular Textiles outlines a comprehensive approach to promoting sustainability in the industry, including the use of recycled and renewable materials, circular business models, the uptake of sustainable innovations, and the reliability of sustainability knowledge. Literature suggests that the promotion of sustainability knowledge spillover within the textile industry can have an impact on the overall textile business in terms of social, financial, and environmental sustainability and its overall competitive advantage. This paper aims to explore sustainability knowledge spillover in the textile industry. Empirical data is gathered through qualitative interviews conducted with small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in the textile industry located in Finland.
