Iazzolino

Gianpaolo Iazzolino is Assistant Professor in Business Economics at the Department of Mechanical, Energy and Management Engineering at the University of Calabria, Italy. He received his Ph.D. in Systems and Computer Engineering and his M.Sc. in Management Engineering (cum laude).
His main research interests are in Financial Performances Evaluation Models and Evaluation of Innovation and Intangibles. He has published several articles in leading journals including Journal of Intellectual Capital, Measuring Business Excellence, International Journal of Production Research, Investment Management and Financial Innovations, Applied Economics Letters, Benchmarking and others. One of his papers received the 2014 Highly Commended Paper Award (by Emerald Literati Network) of the Journal of Intellectual Capital; another paper was awarded as 2016 Highly Cited Research (by Elsevier) of the Journal of Retailing and Consumer Services.
Gianpaolo is Vice-Coordinator of the Degree Program in Management Engineering at the University of Calabria. He is member of the Technical Committee for Spin-Offs at the same university. He was Professor of the year 2012 of the Management Engineering curriculum. He is co-founder and partner of a young spin-off company operating in business simulation tools for education, training and recruitment and is the head of the R&D area on economic models for business games.
