Cultural organizations are developing and implementing Artificial Intelligence (AI) and digital interactive technologies in order to improve cultural and social value production, meeting and engaging the young audiences in cultural heritage landscape. The study aims at investigating the relationships between cultural organizations, artificial intelligence and young audiences. AI supports cultural heritage sites as collaborative spaces for social innovation. AI helps drive cultural organizations to play a significant role in cultural value and knowledge creation, acting as agents of social change and value. Engaging young audiences in becoming proactive actors who contribute to social value creation within cultural heritage ecosystems supports social and technological innovation within cultural organizations that are rediscovering new sources and energies in order to behave as social value-driven and knowledge-led intelligent organizations that contribute to public value and better quality of life, driving social change within communities. The challenge of cultural organizations is to use AI to engage young people and make them proactive actors and responsible co-producers of social and cultural value. Cultural organizations enable youth to shape narratives and contribute to increasing the youth engagement, positioning themselves as platforms of social exchange and dialogue, enabling cultural heritage sites as digital and onsite meeting collaborative places that contribute to supporting cultural value creation.
